The instigator of this business venture, Valantis Lambrianidis, started his career in the catering industry in 1998, when, at the same time, studying marketing and business administration, he started working as a bartender. Although he followed the world of spirits with interest and continuous education, he was finally devoted to the art of coffee.
During his career as a barista and later as a head barista, he was trained by experts who were trying to improve coffee brewing methods in various European countries. Their aim is to improve the techniques of the professionals and the excellent result in their cup.
Passionated for teaching and dedicated to the production of excellent coffee, in recent years he has been teaching at various private schools as an independent barista trainer while conducting seminars in cities in Greece and abroad as an independent barista trainer with the primary goal of the direct approach, information and development of baristas.
Today he is the owner of “Valenio”, a company providing educational and consulting services regarding coffee matters. In addition, he is the owner of “Valenio coffee vibes”, the most specialized coffee shop in the center of Thessaloniki, with an emphasis on specialty coffee and excellent varieties of unique origin. As a “Coffee Consultant” in selected coffee shops, he holds an SCA Coffee Diploma and multiple certifications as an “Authorized SCA Trainer” and a certified judge from the WCE – World Coffee Events “WCE Certified Judge”, for the national and world championships of coffee.
